The City of Fort Pierce is in the process of developing a 5-Year Consolidated Plan for Program Years 2016-2020 and the One-Year Action Plan for Program Year 2016-2017.
The Consolidated Plan will detail the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds received annually from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the next five (5) years.
The One-Year Action Plan for Program Year 2016-2017 will outline the use of CDBG funds for the first year of the 5-Year Plan.
The goals of the Consolidated and Action Plans are to provide decent housing, a suitable living environment and expanded economic opportunities to benefit low and moderate-income residents.
Public participation plays a large role in the development of both of these Plans.
Please help the City of Fort Pierce determine our housing and community development needs by completing the Community Survey. A large number of survey responses will improve our understanding of need, which will enhance our ability to develop well-suited Plans.
