The City of Fort Pierce fully embraces the letter and spirit of the Florida Public Records Law, Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, governing the public's right to access records held by the City, and the constitutional right of access guaranteed by Article I, s. 24(a), Florida Constitution. The City is not required to create a new record, reformat, or provide an explanation of a document. The City’s responsibility is to make the requested existing records available pursuant to the requirements of the Florida Constitution and the Public Records Act. All such materials even if not in final form, are open for public inspection unless exempted from disclosure.
Requests for copies of building permits, surveys, blueprints, open permits, certificates of occupancy, and building plans should be submitted using the "BUILDING RESEARCH" button below.
Requests for site plans, conditional uses and other development and zoning matters should be submitted using the "General" button below.
