City of Fort Pierce Seeking Applications for Youth Council


 
The Fort Pierce City Commission seeks individuals to serve on the Fort Pierce Youth Council (YOCO). YOCO is an advisory board of high school students dedicated to assisting the Mayor and City Council in solving problems and accomplishing goals on behalf of youth in the community. YOCO gives youth a voice and a chance to identify and solve community issues from a youth perspective. YOCO members are resources for elected officials to receive advice on issues youth face, especially those decisions that directly affect young people. YOCO meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Fort Pierce City Hall. The board consists of 7 members who are high school students in the city of Fort Pierce
 
 To be considered, applications must be received by September 30, 2022.
