The City of Fort Pierce Building Department is hosting a Stakeholders Meeting for roofing contractors on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
The topic will be Significant Changes to Roofing Requirements in the 7th Edition (2020) Florida Building Code and Florida Residential Code.
The free Stakeholders Meeting will be held in the Building Department’s Training Facility, which has relocated to the 3rd floor of the Sunrise Center. The Sunrise Center Building, located directly adjacent to the City Hall Parking Garage, faces Orange Avenue and is located at 300 Orange Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34950. Free parking is conveniently located in the same location at the City’s Parking Garage.
The number of attendees for the Stakeholders Meeting will be restricted to observe COVID-19 safety protocols. Attendees must have their temperature checked at City Hall prior to entering the Building Department, face masks are required. In an effort to offer attendance to as many roofing contractors as possible, please only have one person from your company attend.
