[ARCHIVED] The City of Fort Pierce Requests Nominations for Renaming PAL Park

The City of Fort Pierce has issued a call for nominations for the re-naming of PAL Park. PAL Park is no longer a part of the Police Athletic League and is now being reimaged by the City of Fort Pierce. The facility and park located at 903 S. 21st Street are becoming a recreation and resource center offering opportunities for the citizens of Fort Pierce of all ages, including not only athletic activities but also many other learning and developmental opportunities.

It is becoming a Community Center with Park amenities. The practice of the City of Fort Pierce is to name parks, recreation areas, facilities, streets, municipal buildings, and specialized areas through an adopted process utilizing objectives which seek to emphasize community values and character, local and national history, geography, the environment, civics, and service to the City of Fort Pierce.  

All nominations should be returned to the Office of the City Clerk no later than November 30, 2020 via email to lcox@cityoffortpierce.com or mail to 100 N US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.
