[ARCHIVED] City of Fort Pierce Holds Back to School Supply Drive-Thru

FORT PIERCE – The City of Fort Pierce, Treasure Coast Food Bank, Children’s Service Council of St. Lucie County and a host of volunteers are doing their part to help students and families get ready for the first day of school.

The free, drive-thru backpack school supply event will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Percy Peek Gymnasium located at 2902 Avenue D in Fort Pierce.


Students will receive a backpack filled with school supplies, 5-pack of cloth masks, and clear water bottles, while the family will get a family food pack, snack box, milk, hand sanitizer and other items just in time for school. Basic school supplies will be available for elementary, middle, and high school students. Supplies are limited. A maximum of 2 backpacks will be given per vehicle. First come, first serve.
