COVID-19 RECOVERY GRANT PROGRAM

The COVID-19 Recovery Grant Program has been extraordinarily successful in that as of close of business Wednesday, May 6, 2020 over 1,400 businesses and residents were pre-screened for program participation. Due to this strong level of participation, the pre-screening process will end Friday, May 8, 2020 at 12 Noon. City of Fort Pierce staff will then be contacting applicants and potential applicants to assist with collecting the required documentation. TESTING

The City of Fort Pierce, in partnership with Dynix Diagnostix, the Department of Health St. Lucie and Indian River State College, is offering a FREE drive-thru COVID-19 testing on May 11 through May 15 at Ilous Ellis Park, 1211 Avenue M. The testing is by appointment ONLY and pre-screening is required. Two tests are offered: COVID-19 nasal swab or the antibody test. To complete prescreening, please call 888-519-9192 and press 1 for testing, 9:00AM to 5:00PM today and Friday or go online anytime at https://portal.dynixdiagnostix.com/landing/FPCOVID


PARKS AND BEACHES

The City of Fort Pierce is pleased to announce that in addition to all other city parks, South Causeway Park and Jaycee Park are now fully open for the enjoyment of the public. For the safety of our residents and visitors, the parks and beaches are being monitored by City staff to ensure that social distancing guidelines and normal day-to-day regulations are being followed including parking regulations. Sunrise Theatre – Closed to the public, including the box office.

Indian Hills Golf Course – Open to the public and practicing social distancing.

Beaches – Open.

Parks - Open, including South Causeway and Jaycee Park.

Boat Ramps – Open.
