[ARCHIVED] Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Presents #ForTheFort Corridor Cleanups

The Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful Advisory Board is seeking volunteers to assist in a series for quarterly corridor cleanups. As part of an ongoing litter-prevention initiative, the quarterly corridor cleanups are focused on highly trafficked commercial corridors throughout our community.

The first quarterly cleanup is scheduled for this Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 8AM to 10AM on South US1. Volunteers will meet at the former Kmart Plaza on the corner of US1 and Virginia Avenue to pick up their supply kits and take to the streets to pick up litter. Residents, businesses, visitors, families, students, community groups are encouraged to volunteer. This event is approved for community service hours and certificates will be available following the event.

The Corridor Cleanups are an excellent opportunity for our community to shine, demonstrate stewardship of our natural resources, and take pride in the community.

Saturday, January 18, 2020 – 25th Street

Meet at Dreamland Park (301 S 25th St)

8AM-10AM

Saturday, April 18, 2020 – North US1

Meet at City Hall Plaza (100 N US1)

8AM-10AM


Saturday, July 25, 2020 – River Walk Cleanup

Meet at Veterans Memorial Park

8AM-10AM

Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful is a city-wide program dedicated to preserving and beautifying the City of Fort Pierce by providing a trash and liter-free environment. By galvanizing all members of our community to participate and engage in ongoing litter control and maintenance, as well as ongoing efforts that promote and encourage ecofriendly-conscious living, the program ensures that all city residents and businesses enjoy and take pride in keeping our City beautiful.
