The Fourth Annual City of Fort Pierce Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 10AM to 2PM.  This event will be held at the Havert L. Fenn Center, located at 2000 Virginia Ave in Fort Pierce.  This event is presented in partnership by the City of Fort Pierce, CareerSource Research Coast (CSRC), Saint Lucie County Board of County Commissioners and the Saint Lucie County Economic Development Council. Several local and county dignitaries will kick off the day in the opening ceremonies at 9:30AM. Immediately following, jobseekers will be welcomed into the event to meet the participating employers. This job fair is open to all residents of the local workforce development area.

Over 100 local employers with immediate job openings are scheduled to participate in the annual City of Fort Pierce Job Fair to include area municipalities, private clubs, hospitality, healthcare, landscaping, manufacturing and emergency response organizations. For faster admission on the day of the event, jobseekers are strongly encouraged to pre-register by visiting the CSRC website:  https://careersourcerc.com/events/city-fort-pierce-job-fair/ or by visiting one of local CSRC Career Centers.  Career Center locations are also available on the website.

“This fair is a 'must attend' for those seeking quality jobs in the area,” said Fort Pierce City Mayor Linda Hudson.  “The primary goal of the City of Fort Pierce is to promote and increase the job choices available to residents and we believe the event will be a major success! “

Job seekers are also strongly encouraged to attend one of the free job fair preparation workshops being offered by CSRC.  These workshops will help individuals to prepare a suitable resume, master the job application and also teach valuable techniques on how to engage employers to make a great first impression.
