The City of Fort Pierce will publish its Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for 2016-2017 for public review and comment on Thursday, November 30, 2017.  The document will be available for review and comment between Thursday, November 30 and Monday, December 18, 2017.


A public presentation and public hearing on the CAPER will be held Monday, December 18, at a regularly-scheduled City Commission meeting. The report covers community development objectives undertaken during the period of October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. The report does not establish any new policy.


The CAPER report contains a summary of programmatic accomplishments including a description of the resources made available, the investment of available resources, the geographic distribution and location of investments, actions taken to affirmatively further Fair Housing, and other actions indicated in the Consolidated and Annual Action Plans. The purpose of this notice is to make the CAPER report available to the public for comments prior to its submittal to HUD.


Deadline for written comments is December 18, 2017 at 4:00pm.  Comments may be submitted by mail to Attention: Grants Administration Division, City of Fort Pierce, Florida, 100 North U.S. Hwy. 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34950, or email at ewoodruff@city-ftpierce.com.


The CAPER will be available for review beginning Thursday, November 30 at the following locations:
