Today is the first day of Spring and in honor of longer, brighter days, the City of Fort Pierce is excited to announce the “Sunny Fort Pierce” Photo Contest! In an effort to promote our beloved city through social media, we are encouraging our local residents, visitors, families, and friends to post photos of what a sunny day in beautiful Fort Pierce means to them. The top five entries will have a chance to see their images displayed in City Hall and will receive a grab bag of goodies. The first place winner will also receive a universal camera lens for his or her smartphone.
Here’s how it works:
To enter the contest, simply capture a sunny day in Fort Pierce from your perspective. For example, you may take a photo of a beach day, a sunset, a sunrise, or even from your home, etc. Entering is easy; simply upload your picture at the link below. Contestants can enter one image per day until March 31st. If you'd rather enter through Instagram, just upload your photo and use the hashtag #SunnyFortPierce.
Don’t forget to share with your friends on social media! The contest begins today, Monday, March 20th and the deadline to enter photos is March 31st. Voting begins April 1st and ends on April 6th. The winners will be announced Friday, April 7th.
