Please be advised that FPUA contractors will be performing construction on the Fort Pierce wastewater conveyance system, the underground network of pipes that will carry wastewater to the new Mainland Water Treatment Facility.
As part of Phase 2 of the project, Avenue B, between US 1 and N. 7th Street, will be closed beginning October 24. The closure is expected to remain in place through January 16, 2026, to accommodate construction activities and upcoming holidays.
🚗 Detour Information: Motorists are encouraged to follow posted detour signs and allow additional travel time in the area.
Patience from motorists and nearby residents is appreciated during this period as FPUA completes these essential infrastructure improvements.
