The City of Fort Pierce will temporarily close the Moore’s Creek Boat Ramps at Veterans Memorial Park on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM, to accommodate the annual Juneteenth Celebration. The community is invited to a day of family-friendly festivities, held at the River Walk Center and Veterans Memorial Park, located at 600 N. Indian River Drive.
This free and public event will run from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will feature:
- Live music performances by talented local artists
- Junkanoo Band performance
- Food trucks offering a variety of delicious food
- Line dancing and interactive activities
- A dedicated Kids Zone with fun attractions
- Tours of the A.E. Backus Museum
- An adult paint experience led by a renowned Highwaymen artist
- And much more!
This event offers an opportunity for residents and visitors to come together for celebration, education, and reflection. The City of Fort Pierce encourages community members to join in this meaningful observance and celebration of freedom, history, and unity.
