The Fort Pierce City Commission is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals to serve on the Board of Examiners of Contractors. To be eligible for appointment, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of St. Lucie County for at least two years.
- Hold a valid State of Florida contractor license in one of the following categories:
- Architect
- Engineer
- Swimming Pool Contractor
- Roofing or other Specialty Contractor
- General, Residential, or Building Contractor
- Electrical Contractor
- Plumbing Contractor
- Mechanical or Air Conditioning Contractor
Additionally, applicants must not be, and must never have been, members or practitioners of a profession regulated by a board or closely related to the profession.
