Are you inspired by a middle or high school student who has gone above and beyond to accomplish an achievement, excelled in academics or athletics, or has overcome personal adversity to create a positive change in their life or for those around them? The Mayor and Commissioners want to hear from you!
The City Commission is accepting nominations for the first-ever City of Fort Pierce Youth Award Recognition Program. The deadline to submit nominations is Sunday, March 31, 2024.
This award program seeks to showcase the talents, celebrate the achievements, and highlight the positive efforts of our youth to improve Fort Pierce. Twice during the year, our citizens, business owners, and social and civic leaders have the opportunity to actively demonstrate their support for the young people in our community and recognize them for their accomplishments.
To nominate a deserving youth, please complete the online nomination form.
Nominees must meet the following award eligibility requirements:
• Reside in the City of Fort Pierce.
• Provide proof of address.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Be in the middle or high school.
• Be of good character.
• Must meet the award eligibility criteria.
Youth can be nominated in six categories:
1. Innovator Award
2. Beyond the View
3. Humanitarian Award
4. Visionary Award
5. Role Model Award
6. Student-Athlete Award
