In order to highlight Fort Pierce as an arts destination, celebrate the abundant creativity of our local artists, and delineate the newly created arts district –– the City of Fort Pierce is seeking local artwork to display on street pole banners that will hang throughout the Peacock Arts District (PAD).
The City invites all aspiring and veteran artists to enter the PAD Street Pole Banner Contest by submitting original designs to be used as artwork on the street pole banners. The city’s goal is to feature a diverse set of artwork including digital, photography, collage, painting, illustration and print-making.
Each banner design should reflect Fort Pierce as a place and illustrate one of the following themes: General Fort Pierce, Celebrating the Arts, and Positive Messages.
The deadline for entries is Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
