The City of Fort Pierce Building Department has recently reconfigured several permit types to allow for a quicker review process. For most permits, you will not have to do anything different when applying for your permit. However, we have added a new permit type, "Window Door Replacement". Please select this permit type only if you are replacing like for like windows or doors. Please do not select this permit type if you are modifying the size of existing openings or adding or deleting openings. This will ensure that the permit type is processed and reviewed efficiently.
