Get Involved in the Community
The City of Fort Pierce opened its community garden in January of 2014. The community garden is located at 424 North 9th Street next to Moore’s Creek Linear Park. Garden plots are available to the public at no charge.
Community Benefits
Community gardens offer a wide range of benefits from providing fresh fruits and vegetables, an opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, reduce stress, and are a chance for children to learn where food comes from and get involved in their community.
Get Outdoors
Community gardens allow families and individuals an opportunity for outdoor recreation, exercise, and education. No matter your age, income, or health, gardening is a pastime that anyone with a little time and patience can participate in.
Reserve a Plot
To reserve your plot in the Fort Pierce Community Garden, submit a Plot Application Form (PDF). Garden plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. A wish list of items has been requested to help with the construction of the garden, if you would like to donate to the community garden, please call (772) 467-3161.
