Our City Deserves to Shine!

At Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful, we believe our city deserves to shine. Fort Pierce is a place of incredible natural beauty and vibrant community spirit, and our mission is to protect and enhance it for everyone to enjoy. For too long, we’ve seen litter and waste bringing the city down and harming the natural beauty. But we’re here to change that with real solutions that bring the community together to make a lasting impact.

Introducing the "Keep Fort Pierce Beautiful - Our City. Our Responsibility." education campaign on littering and recycling. Through this campaign we seek to inform and educate our community about the harms of litter and how you can play an active role in making our city cleaner and more beautiful than ever before.

Every Piece of Litter Counts

We believe every resident and visitor should experience the full beauty of Fort Pierce.

  • Litter and waste should never stand in the way of community pride and safety.
  • A cleaner city fosters stronger neighborhoods, a healthier environment and welcomes economic opportunities.
  • Every small action – from picking up a piece of litter to joining a clean-up event – adds up to big change.

Clean-Up Made Simple: We know your time is valuable. That’s why we offer straightforward resources and easy-to-join events that genuinely make it fun and easy to become part of the community. We offer the Adopt-A-Road Program, Quarterly Community Cleanups and the Annual Great American Cleanup Event. Through your participation in these programs, you can request free supplies such as buckets, trash bags, vests, pickers, and gloves. Helping our city stay clean has never been easier.

See it. Collect it. Report it. Whenever you see litter, help by collecting it into a trash bag and dispose of it properly. Make sure to report it through our Litter Cleanup Report Form. So that we can track our impact, recognize you for your hard work and so that you can also request trash bag removal.
