Local art students and professional arts are competing for cash prizes in the 3rd annual Magnificent Miniature Masterpieces Silent Auction. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser go to local high schools art teachers for art supplies and equipment. This year’s participating high schools are Central High School, Lincoln Park Academy and Westwood High School. Over 36 local professional artists are participating. The silent auction bidding begins on Wednesday, December 14th in the St. Lucie Cultural Alliance's Vault, 111 Orange Avenue, Fort Pierce, from 11 AM to 4 PM. The bidding continues Thursday and Friday during the Fort Pierce Art Walk from 5 PM to 7:30 PM with music and refreshment served. The final bidding finishes Sunday, December 18 at Harmony Music Lounge, 116 Avenue A, from 3 PM to 5 PM. The winners of each of the three High schools participating (Central, Lincoln Park, Westwood) students and professional artists will be announced.
