City of Fort Pierce Hosts Public Information Open House for Nebraska Avenue Sidewalk Project

FORT PIERCE, FL – The City of Fort Pierce invites residents and stakeholders to attend a Public Information Open House regarding the Nebraska Avenue Sidewalk Project. This event will provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the project’s improvements and construction schedule.

The Nebraska Avenue Sidewalk Project, funded by a Transportation Alternative Grant from the Florida Department of Transportation, will enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility by constructing a 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk on both the north and south sides of Nebraska Avenue, from Lawnwood Circle to S 13th Street. All construction will take place within the existing Right-of-Way. The project will also include new ADA-compliant ramps, crosswalks, and necessary drainage improvements.

The open house will be an informal setting where attendees can review project materials, speak with project representatives, and ask questions. Project team members will be available throughout the event to provide information and address any concerns.
