FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fort Pierce Martial Arts Students Win Competitions
The City of Fort Pierce Martial Arts Program has been doing great things lately! Recently, the City’s martial arts students, under the leadership of Sensei Michael House, participated in two tournaments in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The first tournament took place on November 10, 2022, and March 4, 2023. The group did an amazing job as several of our participants placed 1st in their age groups and a few tested out for the next degree-level belt. The City of Fort Pierce would like to recognize these amazing kids and congratulate them for a job well done! It is truly wonderful that the City’s youth participated, represented, and thrived among their peers and other local organizations at these tournaments.
Currently, the City of Fort Pierce Martial Arts Program has thirty registered participants, ten of those who have been a part of the program since it started in August 2019. It is a self-paced skill-based program for youth ages 4 to 18 years old, with evening classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm. It currently runs year-round, and signup is available at the Fort Pierce Recreation Center located at 901 S 21st Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.
Again, congratulations City of Fort Pierce Martial Artists and Sensei Michael House for all of your hard work, dedication, and recent accomplishments! Your efforts are truly appreciated.
