GOLDEN HAMMER AWARD 

The mayor's Gold Hammer  Award recognizes the efforts of residents and business owners in the Fort Pierce Community that have significantly improved their home  or business through new construction or rehabilitation efforts.

With the numerous public revitalization projects completed or underway in the City, we want to encourage and recognize homeowners and businesses in the community for their efforts to improve their property. We  all benefit from everyone's effort to improve, rehabilitate or provide  new construction in our City and this Award will give folks public recognition for their hard work.

Sponsors for the Award are East Coast Lumber and Supply Company. Winners are selected on  a semiannual basis in the categories of commercial and residential  improvement and new construction. Each category winner receives a  $100 gift certificate from East Coast Lumber and Supply, a sign displayed in front of their home or business and public recognition at the monthly Coffee With the Mayor. Nominations can be made year round for the March and September bi-annual awards.
