SIGHTS and SOUNDS ON SECOND
Downtown's Annual Christmas program highlights the area's finest choirs,  performers and arts and crafts show in a glorious outdoor setting. A parade of various community participants paves the way for Santa  who, always visits this unique event. SANDY SHOES
Main Street Fort Pierce is reviving the City's own Sandy Shoes Festival during March to commemorate the City's birthday and to celebrate  the arts in the community. The Sandy Shoes Festival is scheduled for March 25 & 26, 2005. In past years it has included a car show, an arts and crafts show, a juried art show, a BBQ cook-off, a vendor area, several entertainment stages scheduled with local bands performing  and a community stage showcasing karate, dance and gymnastic displays. A free concert performed by a nationally known artist ending with a fireworks display.
