    Every Saturday, the Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society hosts a Jazz Market "featuring creative arts & crafts" in Historic Downtown Fort Pierce on the waterfront of the Indian River. Original hand made crafts, stained glass, Highwaymen paintings, hand-painted glassware and much, more are available for purchase. Funds raised support education programs and local scholarships.

  5. Surf Paws: Hang 20

    The East Coast Dog Surfing Association presents the St. Lucie Surf Dog Classic benefiting the Humane Society of St. Lucie County. Come see a unique event on Saturday, June 16th at Pepper Park Beach (3302 North SR A1A, Fort Pierce, FL 34949) with festivities starting at 8:30 a.m. and culminating at 10:30 a.m. with our dog surfing competition. To enter your pet in the competition it is a $25 donation. Dog surfing lessons will be offered throughout the morning! Bring your pet to the event to enjoy all the fun! All pets on the beach must be registered the day of the event for a $5 donation. All Proceeds Benefit the Humane Society of St. Lucie County.

  1. Lil' Feet Shop With A Cop

    The Fort Pierce Police Department (FPPD), Lil Feet of St. Lucie County, and the St. Lucie County Fire District (SLCFD) are proud to partner on this Shop with a Cop event so that children in need will have new shoes for the summer. The Police Department “Courageous Kids” program will identify the children, who will participate and the Lil Feet program, sponsored by SLCFD will provide the gift cards to purchase the shoes. It is the mission of Lil Feet to provide new shoes to children in need so that they can run, play, and learn in comfort and with dignity; allowing them to focus on performing, rather than their circumstances.
