DAVID L. RECOR, ICMA-CM - The City Manager is the chief executive and administrative head of the municipal government and is responsible to the commission for the proper administration of all affairs of the City of Fort Pierce. He exercises general supervision and control over all city departments, except the offices of the City Clerk, City Attorney and City Auditor.

BIOGRAPHY

Hired by the City of Fort Pierce in 2005, Mr. Recor has more than 22 years of local government management experience having served in a variety of positions for primarily coastal communities in Virginia, South Carolina and Florida. He is a Credentialed Manager by the International City/County Manager Association (ICMA) in Washington D.C.

Mr. Recor has a strong background in growth management, land use planning and community development/redevelopment issues. He is also experienced in local government finance, accounting and budgeting and promotes the use of performance metrics, quantitative analysis and statistical forecasting.

Mr. Recor is a member of the Florida City/County Manager Association (FCCMA) and serves on the Association's Legislative Policy Committee, Local Government Awareness Committee and the Information Technology Committee.

Mr. Recor and his wife, Maria, have four daughters ages 22, 20, 13 and 11 and have opened their Fort Pierce home to the International Exchange Student program with John Carroll Catholic High School where Mr. Recor serves a member of the school's Advisory Board.

ANNE W. SATTERLEE, APR, CPRC - is the Manager of Communications and Marketing. As such, she oversees all aspects of marketing and communications, implementation of the City's Annexation Plan, special projects, internal and external communications, the City's website, governmental access channel (FPTV - COMCAST 27) and promotion of programs, projects and initiatives for the City.
